A night of tornados

Well the morning after a night of tornados. One even just a few miles south of my house.  We woke all the girls up around 11:30pm to head to the basement. The 8 yr old was a challenge to wake and direct down 2 flights of stairs.  She didn't remember a thing this morning.  We sat in the basement until around 1am when it looked like all was clear.  A tornado had just passed thru Brooks, Ga  just a few miles south of us.  I'm waiting to hear from several friends who live in that area.  It really hit home to hear about an 11yr old girl in her bed, her bed with her asleep in it was picked up adn tossed, bedroom completely demolished.  She escaped with just a few scrapes. WOW. 

Of course while sitting in my basement, I was thinking of all the stuff in the house and if a tornado were to hit us.  Besides the girls, I thought about my embroidery machine and the big shirt order i'm working on. 
Fortunatly it all came to pass.

I'm am awaiting the arrival of a new stock of Monag shirts and knit rompers.  Some of the romper sizes are on backorder, but I'll get enough to start working on some samples. 

I'm working on some summer shirts.  I've got a butterfly sample made.  Some other designs I have are firecracker, dragonfly, anchor, "gone fishing', cross, pig, bird and more.
